Christopher Diamond

Christopher Diamond is Lecturer in Hindi & South Asian Studies in the School of Culture, History and Language, in the College of Asia & the Pacific, at the Australian National University. His research and teaching focuses on the languages and literatures of early modern North India, Nepal, and Bengal. His primary work concerns the textual and performance legacies of Vidyāpati (c. 1370–1450), a multi-lingual poet from the North Indian region of Mithila.
